Marseilles for The Jim!!
Congratulations to The Jim for being honored in five categories at LAWebFest’s 2011 Web Series Festival! Nelson Leis, Ryan Cowie and Elfina Luk were in attendance to receive awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in A Comedy Web Series (Nelson Leis), Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series (Jon Morris), and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Nathan Valente).
AND the equally exciting news of the night was being honored with an Official Selection to the Marseille WebFest 2011 to be held in Marseille, France October 14 – 16, 2011.
The Marseille WebFest is the first of it’s kind in Europe to honor and showcase web series from around the world. The sister web series festival to Michael Ajawke Jr.’s LAWebFest, which was held at the Stage 52 Theater in Los Angeles March 25 – 27, 2011, selected 9 web series to join them in France.
Lance is sooooo excited that he's already crafting French themed smoothies: The French Tickler, The Purple Paris Delight, and the nice Nice nectar to name a few.
